Beach party – Complete Fun And Excitement . Beach Party Planning.

A party thrown on the beach is an excellent excuse for young and old to spend an entire day on the beach, relaxing and having fun!

Warm days under the sun and beach parties somehow come simultaneously to the mind. Surrounded by the salty sea air, warm sand and the inviting water, it is the perfect atmosphere for a little get-together with friends or family. A party thrown on the beach is an excellent excuse for young and old to spend an entire day on the beach, relaxing and having fun!

While planning for a beach party the primary thing one must keep in mind is that such a get-together has to be casual and informal. The atmosphere must be relaxed so that the guests can truly let their hair down. Decorating for a beach party is almost unnecessary. The sea and the sun provide a far more beautiful backdrop than anything invented by man. What one can do is bring along beach chairs, beach umbrellas, rugs, towels and so on to make the experience all the more relaxing.

It is important to find out the laws on what is and is not allowed on the beach. This pertains to consumption of alcoholic beverages, the disposal of trash and so on. The basic information can be obtained from the local officials. This has to be done because the beach is a public area and while one enjoys oneself, it must be ensured that it does not create problems for others.

There are various innovative ways in which one can send out invitations. One can have fun by thinking up funny ways of sending out invitations. One such example would be invitations on deflated beach balls. The guests would be expected to bring the balls, now inflated, along with them when they arrive for the beach party. One can also tie helium balloons on the beach chairs just to add a touch of bright colour as well as allow the guests to spot the party from a distance. Tiki-torches and bonfire arrangements, if permitted on the beach, are ideal arrangements if the beach party is expected to carry on well after sundown.

A beach party will inevitably end up with a lot of splashing about in the water. It is needless to mention that bathing suits are a must for such parties. Sandals and flip-flops are perfect footwear as a little sand between the toes is an integral part of any beach. If one is expecting to stay after sundown it is wise to carry a sweatshirt and a pair of jeans, since the air gets chillier towards the evening. One should also carry sunglasses and beach hats and tanning and sun-screen lotion in order to prevent ugly sunburns the next day.

Activities on the beach involve a lot of romping around in the water and one can do the fun by setting up a volley ball net or some music to get the guests dancing. Building sandcastles or picking shells are activities even adults often find greatly entertaining. A little beach party music is just the thing to set everyone’s mood.

While preparing food for a beach party one must make sure that the menu is simple. Large coolers and ice must be arranged in order to carry and store the food and drinks. If it is permitted by the authorities, one can serve hamburgers or hot dogs, grilled on the beach. It is a good idea to prepare as much food from before the party as possible. Szechuan Cold Garlic Shrimp, Red's Eats Lobster Rolls, Grilled Gourmet Sausages, salads and coleslaw are great choices for food.

Cocktails and lemonades should be arranged and served from the cooler. Ice-creams too are always welcome at a beach party.
